More Information on ATTACK Coaching

ATTACK Coaching is based around a unique philosophy, methodology and process.  Coaches take players through the following steps.

ATTITUDE – Ensuring the right psychology and mental preparation to perform on the field.

TRAINING AND CONDITIONING – Understanding the fitness component to train and condition the body through game and topic specific exercises.

TECHNICAL TO TACTICAL DEVELOPMENT – Progressing from simple technical performance to tactical understanding and decision making.

AWARENESS – This is related to position specific knowledge and understanding of principles of play within a system and formation.

COMPETITION – We now take all the above into a pressurized environment using match play and game related situations.

KNOWLEDGE – Review and evaluation by coaches and players – was the topic clear, did the players understand the session and did they develop?

Teams will be coached at the tactical and functional level with specific training based on principles of play with and without the ball and managing transition. We will have a specialist goalkeeper coach that will work with those players throughout the week before they join their team for match play. In addition, all teams will be given the opportunity to work with our movement and conditioning director to work on their speed, agility, and flexibility with instruction on managing their seasonal workload.

All soccer training sessions will be delivered by elite coaching staff with experience in high-level club, college, and professional ranks.

The ATTACK Coaching Director is Nick Dunbar who has over 30 years of experience in working with players and coaches of every level. Coach Dunbar has 30 years of executive experience in soccer including President of MLS Camps, Technical Director for the MAPLE League, Northeast Soccer League, and Club Champions League, Academy Director for Global Premier Soccer, Chief Operating Officer of National Center of Excellence, Management consultant for Seacoast United Sports Club, and currently COO of Global Sports Experiences.

Coach Dunbar also holds his US Soccer A and B License, English Football Association Coaching Certificate, United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma and Master Coach Diploma, and is a US Soccer and United Soccer Coaches Staff and Course Instructor.
